Jinkers or rear steer trailers are used to move long items where the trailer is required to articulate (turn) independently of the article being carried to negotiate turns. The Loading system for a jinker is equivalent to a ball joint at the front attachment point to the loaded article and a pivot joint at the rear on the jinker. The following table shows the available combinations for heavy articles to be carried using this method.
